Dog is Man's Best Friend, but a Cat is...a Cat... Mysterious, unscrutable, with the wisdom of the ages in those glowing eyes and who-knows-what going on behind them? Here are some quotes about our feline co-habitators on this Earth. (Selections from The Big Book of Cats, edited by Susan Feuer)

If cats could talk...they wouldn't.
(Nan Porter)

The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look of their faces whether they see a moth or an ax-murderer.

The look on my cats face when my DH picks her up is pure anger. She can give the nastiest looks! She likes to be petted and not picked up. Soiled brat.
She rules the roost and bosses two big German Shepherds around like she owns the place. And she comes when she's called. Purely to see what kinda treat I will gift her with...

As a dog person, I loved the quotes about cats.

You forgot spiteful.Cats are definitely spiteful. Once had a tomcat who had a bad habit of dashing in the door when it opened. He got the last two inches of his tail cut off when I ran out the door and he ran in. He bided him time and peed all over my biology book and notebook. There was no getting the smell out of those books.
