Folks, I've had enough Winter to last me two years, at least. In Georgia my few hardy plants are sprouting. Yep, I have a few bulbs that survive from year to year in spite of my neglecting them. I should soon see a few early buds and then flowers.
Cute ducklings and their Mama watched us doing my daughter's bridal photographs at a small pond in Midtown Atlanta in early May.
Not far north of Suwanee, which is north of Atlanta, Lake Lanier and other lakes invite boating, swimming, and even camping. Some of my friends invited a bunch of us to share their lake house and their boat for a weekend. I'd love to share some of the Spring photos taken at their lake house, just over the South Carolina state line.
Houses ring the lake and have their own docks. Some are larger than others, but this one was just right.
Some of the girls were enjoying the wind in their faces and hair.
Don't you just love sunsets and couples in sunsets?
Would you believe we motored from the house barely in North Carolina to a restaurant barely in Georgia? The sunsets photos were taken on the way back from supper.

Nice pictures, Mary! I, too, am ready for nice weather. They're promising more normal temperatures by the end of the week and then some people will complain it's too hot!!! Enjoy each moment of warmth!
Judy, I love warm Georgia weather, as long as I have an air conditioner avaiable.
Thanks for the pictures, Mary. They're beautiful.
Lovely pictures. But I have to confess, my favorite season is winter. There's nothing more relaxing, to me, than sitting inside my home enjoying a cup of hot chocolate while watching the snow come down outside.
MM you are such a tease! I want it to be warm, I want flowers in bloom and bees buzzing and even ants crawling. I am so over cold weather.
Hey, Joanne! I didn't intend to take your day and am glad we are sharing! Glad you liked the pictures.
Hey, Pam, I know you like cold weather. We love you even if you are a Yankee transplant.
Scarlet! Looks like we aren't the only folks who have had enough cold weather. One month was enough.
I enjoyed these pics and your post, Mary. Spring is flirting with us here in the Shenandoah Valley.
Missed this one. I love spring!!
