Cannons are a traditional Italian dessert that I would not even attempt to make, although my mom makes them a couple of times of year.
Dough:
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tbl. baking powder
Use judgement on flour
roll out not too fine
wrap around a cut rolling pin---or something round
and
fry in hot grease
When cool, fill with chocolate or vanilla pudding
