I think most bosses feel that way--now whether they get what they want is another story. I happen to be fortunate to work with two great female attorneys but there are two in my department that I could absolutely do without.
I wouldn't know, but take your word for it. Small business owners like us are our own boss except for the IRS. The ultimate boss. I just liked the quote in general.
Maybe the idea is to be subtle when you suck up to a boss or anyone else.
I guess you just need to be a fan of the show to 'get' Michael. He's eccentric, obnoxious, and weirdly lovable. And if there's anything inappropriate to say, he'll say it, but with a total lack of awareness.
