I'm not a fan of the big game, although I'll be hosting a get-together for family. I do love the kick-off and half-time festivities, though. Here are two easy recipes that you and your family are sure to enjoy:

As a bonus, I've added some ideas for what to wear on Super Bowl Sunday. (See below)

1 pkg. (8 oz) softened cream cheese
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup Frank’s red hot buffalo wings sauce
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
1 tbsp. chopped red peppers

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix first 3 ingredients in bowl until blended. Stir in chicken and blue cheese.
Spoon into shallow baking dish and bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with peppers.
Serve with cut-up fresh vegetables and/or assorted crackers.

7 LAYER MEXICAN DIP, adapted from a recipe by fashion blogger Jo-Lynn Shane.

8 oz. sour cream
2 pkg. (16 oz) cream cheese (room temperature)
1 1/2 cup salsa (total)
2 tsp. chili powder
1 cup shredded cheddar jack cheese
1/2 cup canned black beans
black olives (sliced)
jalapeno pepper (sliced)

Mix sour cream, cream cheese, 1/2 cup salsa, cumin and chili powder. Spead in bottom of square baking dish. Spread remaining 1 cup salsa evenly over mixure. Spring with shredded cheese, black beans, scallions, olives, and jalapenos.
Bakc 10 minutes.
Serve with tortilla chips

Here's my bonus! A woman has to look great while supporting her favorite team: (Thanks to fashion blogger Jo-Lynne Shane for these game day ideas.)
