Have you ever daydreamed about being a super hero and saving people? Maybe you flew into a bad scene and stopped a robbery. A bit much?

Have you daydreamed that you worked side-by-side with local law enforcemt to save a child. You ran beside your sheriff and shot the sniper who had a bead on the lawman. Still too much but getting there?

For the next four days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we will have guests who have trained with their local law enforcement and learned up close and personal about a day in the life of a police person.

Come back Monday and see who tells her experiences first. Ask questions! These writers are proud of what they learned.

Amy, thanks for sharing! I learned so much from the Citizens Academy. Your ride along sounds fantastic, of course from a writer's perspective. I'm curious: Did you have a preconceived notion of law enforcement before you took the CA, and what if anything about the course reinforced it, or changed it? Thanks for sharing?
