THANK YOU

At this moment, a wreath is being put on the tomb of the unknown solider in Washington, D.C. It was the moment the peace treaty was signed for WWI.

Seize the opportunity today to both remember our fallen and thank those who've served our country, and those who still do. Without our brave men and women, we wouldn't be the proud, free Americans we are.

Autumn, thank you for the kind words. As a veteran (and the wife and mother of veterans), I know firsthand the sacrifice soldiers make to keep America a safe and free nation.

This day was always very special to my grandmother who always wore a small red poppy. Her first husband died in WWI and is buried in France. Thanks for the reminder to be thankful and appreciative to all our vets for their service.
