Good mornin', mes cheries. (Sounded good, didn't it?) The Big Easy (New Orleans) in March rocks. I attended a writing conference the first weekend in March and had a fab time. Scarlet wrote some about our trip, but I'll add a bit more.
We were actually here on this famous street!
How lovely is this?
Remember the granddaddies of Jazz?
The performers below drew huge crowd. Amazing!
I'm thinking I need this for Halloween. Or not.(grin)
We didn't eat here, but we did eat is some cool places.
See the tugboat? It reminds me of the old stories I read about the mighty Mississippi.

I'll give away a copy of The Gift or Haunting Refrain, your choice. If you have both I can let you have Forever Love. Comment here and there for a better chance to win!
Tune in later for more photos and comments, like some of the New York Times best selling authors.
Oh wow that looked like a fun time in New Orleans. Maybe I will manage to find a way to get my act together and do some traveling one day soon.
Mary, what fun! What was the writing conference? You were close and should have come to visit!
Kathy, I hope you do. Yes, we had a blast!
Linda, hon, you are well past New Orleans. I appreciate the thought, though. Scarlet and I were on a tight schedule. She and I both had to work Monday.
Makes me want to go to New Orleans, Mary, and why not get that dress. You look good in everything! xxoo
Donnell, I love you! I decided against the revealing beaded thingie.
Maybe you could head to NO and meet me there for fun! WE could invite others and party.
Oh, I wish I could've gone. I'm green with envy. Really I am! Maybe next year.
I would have loved to see you in that dress MM! I was in NO last year with Linda. We were there in the middle of a hurricane, mild, but still a mess!
Too bad we didn't go at the same time!
Autumn, I wish you could have joined us!
Mary R. So way in Hell could I wear that beaded number. People would beg me to cover up. Actually, now that I think about it, I could use the $$$$.
MM and I had a very productive and fun trip. We both took lots of pictures. That's one reason I like traveling with MM, she knows I love making pictures and tags right along. She is a very good photographer. We both got requests from editors and learned a load of stuff. Had some wonderful food also.
MM, your pictures are better than mine. I want a new camera!
Scarlet, you always get great pictures.
Gorgeous pictures, MM. Thanks for sharing. Some day, I must see New Orleans.
Joanne, we do need a road trip to New Orleans. Glad you liked the blog.
Fun pictures...so glad you had such a good time!!
We did have fun, Judy!
