Quote for the Day

To recognize that the soul of a man is unknowable is the ultimate achievement of Wisdom. The final mystery is oneself. When one has weighed the sun in a balance, and measured the steps of the moon, and mapped out the seven heavens star by star, there still remains oneself. Who can calculate the orbit of his own soul?

Once again you have hit us with "food for thought". We'll be pondering this for a while. Thanks for the quote and the photo.

Lovely picture! Esoteric is the most descriptive word I have for Wilde's words. They make me think, analyze and ponder. Three things I mostly abhor to do! Makes my brain hurt!

I took the picture in the mountains of TN when I went on my Utopic journey to pick up my car.
