Author, mom, talented Rebecca York!

Rebecca took an old kitchen cabinet and made it a work of art! Ozzie seems to think she designed and painted it for him.

She bakes for her son in Afghanastan like a good mom. Check out the shirt.

She likes to travel. See her in a photo in China

Check her blog and website for wonderful photos of her travels.

Ask a question for a chance to win one of her books!

Cute kitty. Gorgeous work on your cabinet.

I bet your son loves those homemade cookies.

When I print out the manuscript, I always see things I miss on the screen.

Thanks for the heads up on Sylvia Day.

Gorgeous cabinet.

I started writing in the mid 70's. When I first started, I wrote newspaper articles and gradually moved into books.

Ruth,
I love your kitchen! Been begging for a larger kitchen for years. The cabinet is lovely, especially with its tabletop accessory! My kitty sits on my desk and curls up on my pages as I try to work.

What is your favorite type of paranormal story?

Thanks again for visiting!

OOPS, I didn't as if the cat was the king or queen of your house. She rules the place, doesn't she?

If you haven't read the werewolf series, you must! Crimson Moon was wonderful, Ghost Moon was the best!

Well, since I also write cookbooks, I needed a great kitchen, right?

My favorite type of paranormal? I guess telepathy. As in my BEYOND CONTROL and BEYOND FEARLESS. People who can communicate mind to mind. But werewolves run a close second.

Yes, Ozzie is pretty much the queen of the house. According to her, she's the only cat who is allowed to sleep with me. Harriet hangs around, but she has to leave when both the TV and the light are off. The other cat is the Beevel. She's a high strung Abyssinian and is really Norman's cat.

Yes, cats curl up on my papers, too. I have a little lap desk that kind of prevents that.

My prayers go out for your son. My daughter just returned from a 15 month tour in Afghanistan and I understand what you are going through. Like you, I sent lots of goodies. When they are away from home it's the small things that matter.

All right, what's wrong with this picture, a great writer, beautiful cabinet and a great cook! Lucky son. Rebecca, where would you say would be your favorite place you've traveled if you could name a place.

Rebecca/Ruth,

Thanks so much for sharing with us. I'll allow people to comment here Wednesday and then we can announce a winner!

Hi Rebecca,
Love the cat's name! And the cabinet. You are so creative and talented. Do you always print out your manuscript? I do. It reads a lot differently away from the computer screen.

Pamela, thanks so much. I'd like to know when Ethan is coming home. He says it's "still up in the air."

Donnell, I guess I'd have to say my favorite place is a nice comfortable hotel on the ocean where they pamper you.

Joanne, yes, I ALWAYS print out my manuscripts. That's part of my process.
Rebecca
