What is a hurricane for you?
An interesting news item? A suddenly annoying situation if you have to cancel a cruise in the Caribbean? A moment of anguish if you know a relative who lives in the south?
OR is it a fearsome announcement that means prepare yourself because the eye of the storm is heading straight toward your town?

Hi, Mona. I have a program, which not only emails me alerts when storms start, but I can also go right into the program to track it every step of where it's heading. And living in Tampa, I keep a close eye so I can haul butt long before a storm can reach Tampa.
Hi, Mona. I have a program (Tracking the Eye), which not only will send me alerts to my email, but also my cell phone. I can go right into the program and track a storm's progression and track forecast. Living in Tampa, I couldn't live without this program. Geez, a girl has to know when to pack up and haul boogie. lol

I'm now in Hurricane Central (Florida) so I pay attention now. But used to be a Georgia girl (Atlanta) where, surprisingly enough, the occassional Big Storm would give us a good whack (Opal).

Living in the UK, hurricans are something we hear about on the news happening in far away places. They just don't happen here. In fact, this country has its drawbacks, but we don't have anything poisonous to sting or bite (except one rare snake) no dangerous animals (except the humans of course) and very rarely a storm bad enough to do some damage and a bit of flooding. We're pretty lucky I guess.
