History never repeats itself. The historians repeat each other.

I wish we could rewrite a lot of history. Starting with war.

Are we doomed to repeat the things we as humans are ashamed of.

Well, that's an interesting quote. Kind of makes you rethink what they taught you in, uh, history.

And of course everything Wilde says is gospel! I've got this little book that arranges his quotes by subject.

So that's where you're getting those quotes!

I think History depends on the eye of the beholder or the historian or news folks. They often try to write history instead of reporting it.
